Blue baby boy ispy quilt

Well I decided it was time to make my newest grandchild a quilt as I can't have cuddles as he is in the UK and a quilt is the next best thing right ?
I began by going shopping of course and using some of my stash,
I decided blues and plenty of boy type prints and bright colors and mostly a blue and orange theme,
Cutting 130 4 inch squares and joining them in a random design to make a 10 by 13 squares quilt top.

Laying out my backing fabric and batting cut 4 inch bigger than the quilt top
I pinned the layers together and began straight line quilting with a walking foot stitch length 3
sewing approx quarter inch onto the squares in a grid across the whole quilt top.

finally binding and here we have a quilt to keep a little baby boy warm and snug for many yrs to come. Plenty to look at and play ispy when he gets older with his big sister Jessica.
